Троллейбусы в Третьем Рейхе

The network initially consisted of three lines identified with alphabetical letters A, B and C; the fleet consists of three two-axle trolleybuses built on FBW FRANZ BROZINCEVIC & Cie WETZIKON type 51-ZH chassis from LINIE-TOUŠEK body shop in Mělník, under license from Swiss company GEBRÜDER TÜSCHER AG, electrical equipment supplied by BBC BROWN BOVERI & Cie.
FBW-BBC trolleybuses were equipped to operate autonomously with the aid of batteries; the electrical and power systems were provided by Swiss company KM KUMMLER+MATTER.
The first three units that constituted the initial equipment of network were followed by two other trolleybuses similar to the previous ones; numbered 4 and 5, they were also fitted out by LINIE-TOUŠEK body shop, while the electrical equipment was supplied by ČKD ČESKOMORAVSKÁ KOLBEN DANĚK.
Thanks to the positive experiences gained in daily operation, at the end of the second world war another three trolleybuses were ordered, this time equipped with BBC BROWN BOVERI & Cie electrical equipment.
Due to the difficult political and economic situation immediately after the second world war, the assembly of these last vehicles by LINIE-TOUŠEK body shop in Mělník underwent several hardships; for this reason, their entry into service could only take place during 1946.
These vehicles were registered with numbers from 6 to 8.
