Do you have other pics with romanian soldiers identification plates ? Here I refer to the archives, or pictures from personal collections? They are somehow stored in any archive, database etc? Regards...

Thanks "Erwin_Riefkogel" Do you think I have a chance to find an identification plate, if i know the data on it? ......................................................................................
I do not understand you. Do you have a chip and you want to find the grave of a soldier? Or do you know these soldiers and want to find his badge?
do not laugh at me ... I'm looking for my grandfather.. is felt in Ukraine in 1941. I'm lookin'for his badge (it is almost impossible, I know ) i've allready post a topic right here .. http://reibert.info/forum/showthread.php?p=2435116#post2435116 Anyway, many thanks for your information (above this response)
Now I understand. Very little chance that you'll find it ... One chance in a billion ... Good luck in your search. I recommend. 1) to combat the way your grandfather (in some units fought it specifically). 2) the most detailed study of regions of Ukraine, which were at war, these units 3) send a search party, who work in these areas. If you reduce the search area, then your shasy can rise ... PS Try to make a request to Germany (Folksbund). Perhaps they may have information on the burial place of your grandfather.
1735 is the registration number (unique for each soldier) the old owner (Dumitru) and the old address (Tatarasti de Sus) were replaced with Marin and Telorman (actually, right spelling is Teleorman) ...in fact, were not uncommon, the lack of identification plates, especially in the early days of the war, some soldiers to take the nameplate to a dead soldier, and update personal data... these types of identification plates, made of bakelite, were common among soldiers troops and non-commissioned officers and senior officers had metal identification plates and the data were punched ........................................................................................................
