A shadowbox I (David Harvey) made a few years back for Alan Carlton, former B-24 pilot with the 567th Bomb Squadron, 389th Bomb Group. He was shot down on his 15th mission over Germany in Feb 1944 and was a POW until being liberated by the Soviets in May 1945. I have also completed a packet recommending him for the Legion of Honor, which is currently under review by the French Consulate in Washington, D.C.
