Re: Одесса... Вот это самое интересное. В книгах и воспоминаниях читаем например что был ожесточённый бой у села "N". Едем копать - позиции, осколки, гильзы и пр. Читаешь донесение батальона - 8 раненых красноармейцев, пофамильно(!!!). Вот тогда понимаешь почему там нет бойцов, раненых-то забрали... К сожалению нет времени сопоставлять всё с книгами, но и до этого доберусь.

This shell is one of the early types adopted for use in the 81-mm mortar. At the present time, this shell is standard for issue but not standard for manufacture. The principal use of this shell is against dugouts, heavy barricades, and underground structures where a mining action is most effective. Shell body. The body of this shell is constructed of forged steel. It is cylindrical in shape, having a tapered nose and tail. It has a bourrelet machined on the body near the tail which serves as a rear bearing surface and a gas check. There is no bourrelet at the front of the shell. The nose is threaded to receive an adapter. The adapter is threaded to receive the fuze well cup and fuze. The use of an adapter bushing allows the shell to be loaded with less difficulty and also permits the use of the same fuze for the 81-mm and 60-mm shells. The fuze used is the P.D. M45 having a selective setting for either superquick or delay action . For details as to functioning of the M45 Fuze see pages 295 to 298. The base of the shell is closed and threaded so as to receive a stabilizer assembly. The " shell filler is 4.48 pounds of TNT. The total weight of the completely assembled round is 15.10 pounds. The entire length of the shell is 23 1/2 inches. Fin assembly. The fin assembly consists of a machined cartridge container to which are attached collapsible fins . One end of the cartridge container is closed and threaded to be screwed on the body of the shell. The other end is machined and hollow inside to receive i the ignition cartridge. Holes in the cartridge container act to lead the flame from the ignition cartridge to the propellent increments. The propellent increments are held in place by the collapsible fins . The fins are always being forced into their open position by compressed springs. The fins are kept in position before firing by a small copper wire tied around them. The blast of the propelling charge shears the copper wire and permits the fins to open to a greater diameter than the shell body after it has cleared the muzzle of the weapon. This was designed to increase the stability of the shell by increasing the fin surface.

The fins, due to their size, are delicate and the blast of the propelling charge explosion will in many cases cause distortion. Both of the above reasons tend to result in unstable flight and the purpose for which this stabilizer assembly was designed is defeated . The ignition cartridge. The ignition cartridge is the M3 red previiously described . The propellent increments. The propellant is in the form of halfround celluloid increments previously described. A total of one ignition cartridge and four increments comprise the full propelling charge of 520 grains of double base powder. The propelling charge may be adjusted to vary the range. Zones of fire and range. This shell has five zones of fire. The first zone of fire consists of the ignition cartridge itself. Zone five consists of ignition cartridge and four increments. Zone one has a range of approximately 100 yards. Zone five has a range of approximately 1,275 yards. Marking and packing. The shell body is painted olive drab lustreless with yellow stencil to indicate H.E. filler. Re: Одесса... Господа. То что Вы говорите что я "обелел" ВОЗМОЖНО. Кто ставит разницу между "чёрным" и "белым"??? Просто надоело быть более 23-х лет чёрным. Устал. Совесть начала мучать!!! Ну а то что я и многие другие делают добрые дела ( как и многие чёрные на данный момент. ) но открыто, так кто нас может осудить??!!! А кто и пытается, так Вы господа ещё молоды!!! Не стоит. Я многое прошёл. И Вы не в праве меня судить!!!! Подумайте над написанным. Я тоже был в Вашем положении, но повзрослел. "ХАБАР" решает не всё!!! И тем не менее: Многие чёрные всё таки останки бойцов сдают. Не так ли???!!!
Re: Одесса... Продолжим тему о америкосовких минах под Одессой. Камрады с буржуйского форума поделились фотографиями этого огурчика. Начну попорядку, на фотографиях изображено две мины слева америкос, а справа всем извесный француз которые у нас в изобилии попадаются. Вот теперь решайте сами откуда у вас взялись америкосы.
Re: Одесса... О том что они не нашли, а им сообщили о находке они пишут, а о том что они на том же поле только в конце ближе к морской посадке еще нашли несколько наших, та об этом молчат.

Re: Одесса... Тогда буду друзьям рассказывать, что это от "НИ".А"амирикосы" по видимому от 49гсд по 1944г.Как я понял попадаются они в большинстве в районе Гильдендорфа,во всяком случае находил я их только там.(вторая посадка от ж.д.)
Re: Одесса... Может быть и не по 44, а по 41, так как немцы с итальянцами в 40 году захватили в северной Африке большую партию этих мин, одна из версий что они передали румунештам на отстрел. Так как мина была разработана в 35 году, но если почитать документацию ее, то там написано что амеры отказались от дальнейшего ее производства. Также большую партию амеры "подарили" британцам.
