Hello everyone. I am new member, and I am trying to find info. Of author of "Der Reibert" handbooks. The internet claims it. To be written by a Dr. Jur. W. Reibert. Outside of a vague Wikipedia article. I am having a difficult time finding much info on this person aside from "books for sale". They were in the Prussian army. Then into Reichsheer. Then to Wehrmacht. Can anyone relate how to go about researching the individual beyond a few article scattered through time?
Good afternoon. Take a look here: http://www.usmbooks.com/reibert_nazi_uniforms.html http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/germa...5-instruction-book-reibert-infantry-heer.html
Ми коли заходимо на англоязичні форуми пишемо на україньській мові? Чи все ж таки на англійській? Так що будь ласка, скористайтеся гугл перекладачем.
Hello! Not all members of the forum are good in English, so if you need a quick answer it would be much easier for us to read the question in our native language.

Good day. Did you ask about this person because the site was called that? Maybe I'll disappoint you: that's the end of the relationship. The creator and owner of the site Artem once wrote why such a name was chosen. «One of the most frequently asked questions to me, after of course “Why can't I register on the forum?”, Is “Why REIBERT?”. I will answer. When I had to register a new domain, there was a choice with the name of the site, the old name, aka “Wehrmacht and SS. Military Archeology ”was not a title, but rather a common sentence in the title. You needed a trade mark, a brand, short, easy to read, associative, preferably in English letters, to be a domain at once. Ww2, wehrmachrt, worldwar2 and the like disappeared right away, tk. such first-level domains have been occupied for a long time. From the spinning then in my head I remember "Der Spiesse", "Eiserne Kreuz" and the like, and of course "Reibert". REIBERT is actually such a book, not a charter, but a certain accomplice of a young Wehrmacht soldier, which briefly describes everything that could be useful to him in the service - combat teams, tactics, handling weapons, teams, uniforms, etc. Although REIBERT is not even the title of the book, it is somehow long and incomprehensible, and the surname of the major of jurisprudence who wrote it, just this surname is written in large letters in the title of the book, and all collectors call it exactly like Reibert. Scans of the original book can be viewed here - http://www.usmbooks.com/reibert_nazi_uniforms.html or here - http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/germa...5-instruction-book-reibert-infantry-heer .html or on Google. In general, my choice settled on this name for the reason that I wanted to see my site as a kind of more perfect semblance of this book, so that the person who came to it could receive in a simple and accessible form all the necessary information on the Third Reich - by uniform, insignia, organization, weapons, etc.»
thank you so much. Yes. this name brought me here. I had no idea about the relationship to Major "Reibert". I really hoped so. I could find more information on this.
огромное спасибо. да. это имя привело меня сюда. Я не предполагал отношения к майор "Рейберт". Я действительно на это надеялся. Я мог бы найти больше информации по этому поводу.
