Ага. У Д. Лепре этот персонаж не идентифицирован, написано "неизвестный". Хотя при увеличении у него видно петлицы штуба.

 

Prof. Husein Đozo, the main imam (Muslim religious leader) of the 13th Armed Mountain Division of the SS "Handschar" (1st Croatian). A highly educated Muslim theologian, reformer and activist, who studied at the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, and eventually became a professor at the newly-opened Islamic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo. Today, he is considered to be one of the most influential Bosnian Muslim thinkers of the past century – but his role during World War II is rarely being mentioned. He voluntarily enlisted in the "Handschar" division in June 1943, and initially served as imam of the 2nd Regiment (no. 28). During his service in this unit, besides edifying the troops, Đozo also trained the imams. He used to write in a classical Nazi propaganda style, using the usual phrases such as "laying down lives for the great leader Adolf Hitler and the New Europe", about SS men's task and the struggle against the "capitalism, communism and Judaism", all for the sake of "New Order". After the war, he spent five years in prison, and later continued his theological work in the communist Yugoslavia as well. He died in Sarajevo, aged 70. In his honor, a couple of years ago, a primary school in Goražde which used to be called "Nikola Tesla" changed its name to – "Husein ef. Đozo".

Bosnia and Herzegovina, summer 1944. Commander of the 13th Armed Mountain Division of the SS "Handschar" (1st Croatian), SS-Standartenführer Desiderius Hampel, with commander of the 2nd Group of Brigades of the Chetnik (JVuO) Majevica Corps, Radivoje Kerović. The meeting of the two commanders was described by SS-Obersturmführer Hermann Schifferdecker, who accompanied Hampel (quote from the book "Himmler's Bosnian Division", by George Lepre): "We drove with an escort to the pre-determined point near Lopare where several mounted Četniks awaited us. Only Hampel and I were allowed to continue. The Četniks placed us on mountain horses, blindfolded us, and we set off into the mountains. After about an hour the blindfolds were removed. Shortly thereafter, we came to a clearing in the forest where a few cabins and tents stood. About thirty heavilyarmed Četniks lingered about, including a few women. Their leader approached and introduced himself as Vojvoda (Chieftain) Radivoj[e] Kerović. He was an imposing man with a powerful beard and head of hair, as were his compatriots. After Hampel presented him with a gift (a hunting rifle), we were made to take places at a richly-decorated table inside one of the cabins. Only after the feast were we able to begin discussing the matter of the weapons. After tough negotiations, we managed to secure the return of the material, which was to be carried out in exchange for the delivery of several thousand rounds of small arms ammunition and a few cases of hand grenades. The return trip was made in the same manner, and we were quite happy to see our escort again!"

Щитка хорватского в Принц Ойген не носили.
Все фото с петлицами 7-й дивизии и щитком- это бойцы Хандшара. Не давно переведенные из Принца, и пока не получившие петлицы 13-й дивизии, они продолжают носить старые. Щитков видимо было в достатке, и они уже их пришили...
Существует фото с хорватским щитком, эдельвейсом, горными ботинками, феске Хандшар- и с петлицами тотенкопф и лентой Теодор Эйке- мы же не будем говорить, что в 3-й дивизии Тотенкопф носили хорватский щиток))) понятно, что солдата перевели из тотена в Хандшар.....
п.с. если есть 100% фото солдат Принца с хорватскими щитками, можно фото увидеть ?
